The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that seam bowler Jess Woolston has signed a new one-year contract extension.
Her new deal will see Woolston remain at the Club until at least the end of 2027.
The Middlesborough native and a graduate of the Yorkshire Cricket College, Woolston has continued to make significant strides on the pitch and forms part of an increasingly experienced bowling unit.
Woolston played three seasons for the Northern Diamonds prior to the new professional structure being created, establishing herself as a reliable seam option. She returned an exceptional 5-45 against Middlesex last year, Yorkshire’s first as a professional county.

Having signed her new deal, Woolston said, “I’m really pleased to be extending my time at Headingley. It’s a fantastic club, and I remain excited for the future, particularly now that we’re in Tier One competing against some of the best players in the world.
“I want to keep working and developing my game and contributing to the team over the next couple of seasons.”
Gavin Hamilton, General Manager of Cricket, added: “Jess has shown incredible determination to get to this point in her career, and her new contract is testament to this and to her impact on the group.
“She has a bright future and we’re all excited to see what this holds for her at Yorkshire.”
