With the all-important Ashes battle in Australia now concluded, attention is swiftly shifting to England’s first Test engagement of 2018 on their home turf as they take on Pakistan in a Test series which will consist of two Test matches to be played at Lord’s and Emerald Headingley.

A veteran of 27 international games, the former Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat has been in the thick of some tough battles for his national side and as he explains, the Test series between both sides will be as tough as any other recent battle England have faced.

“The Ashes might be huge all around the globe, but a Test match between England versus Pakistan anywhere in the world is not too far behind,” he told yorkshireccc.com. “The matches are always hard-fought and very entertaining for the fans and very enjoyable for the players taking part. The standard of cricket is always very high and competitive, and the matches are always must-see for the audience.”
