Yorkshire fast bowler, Matt Fisher, is still only 21 but in his short career he’s suffered more injuries than many professional cricketers face in a life time, but, thankfully, from his and his county’s point of view, he’s making solid progress from a serious back injury and plans to resume playing, possibly in late April or May.
Fisher, fully fit he’s capable of bowling in the mid to late 80s – made his Yorkshire debut as far back as June 2013 when he was only 15 in a 40 overs’ match and became the youngest post-war county cricketer, but after creating history, his promising start has been interrupted by a series of injuries which would have shattered weaker characters.
