Having taken legal advice, the Board of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club has met formally with its Chairman, Steve Denison, to better understand the outcome of the Financial Reporting Council’s (FRC) decision regarding PWC’s auditing of BHS in 2014, and any impact that decision may have on the Club going forwards.

The Directors have received information from the case and have no reason to doubt Mr Denison’s integrity.

The Board will continue to monitor the situation and will meet as and when further information is available, including the published report. No further comment will be made until that time.
