There was no play possible on day two of Yorkshire’s season-ending Specsavers County Championship match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.
Yorkshire would have resumed on 261-2, with opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore unbeaten on 165.
Instead, heavy overnight and morning rain left Edgbaston waterlogged, with the scene resembling something more akin to Warwickshire’s local rivals Worcestershire and New Road.
Umpires Graham Lloyd and Russell Warren abandoned the day just before 12.30pm without the need for an inspection. They had initially called an early lunch at 12pm.
