Yorkshire County Cricket Club has retrospectively awarded caps to women players who have represented their county to recognise their commitment and their importance to the Club – spanning nearly 90 years of history.  

Yorkshire lost their second successive Vitality Blast match, failing to chase 167 against Leicestershire. The Vikings bowled the Foxes out for 166 in 19.5 overs, with Jafer Chohan, Dan Moriarty and Matthew Revis all claiming two wickets apiece. Yorkshire have signed Surrey fast bowler Conor McKerr on a five-game loan deal for the Vitality Blast, starting this weekend.

Ottis Gibson expects new overseas signing Donovan Ferreira to produce some fireworks in the coming weeks. South African wicketkeeper-batter Ferreira has shown glimpses of his power with the willow in the opening three Vitality Blast matches, of which Yorkshire have won two.
