Tim Bresnan will always be remembered for taking the wicket which helped England retain the Ashes at the MCG in late December 2010.

Ben Hilfenhaus caught Matthew Prior bowled Bresnan, 0 on day four in Melbourne.

England won by an innings and 157 runs to go 2-1 up in the series having won the Ashes at home in 2009.

They went on to secure a 3-1 series win at Sydney in the New Year, becoming the first England side to win the Ashes on Australian soil in 24 years.

Bresnan, as documented in the new film The Edge, still has that ball which got Hilfenhaus at home.

Maybe not quite pride of place, but certainly a moment he cherishes.

“I should probably take better care of that ball to be honest,” he says.

“When I found it for that film, it had a load of stickers on it from the Minions or something after the kids had been playing with it. I think I need to stick it up a shelf out of reach.”
