Jonny Bairstow and Jamie Overton will return to the crease at 11 am, with the latter looking to complete a maiden hundred on Test Match debut.
Supporters in attendance on day two were treated to a remarkable day of cricket with some a five-fer for Jack Leach, some sensational swing bowling from New Zealand to reduce England to 55 for 6 before an unbeaten partnership of 209 between Bairstow and Overton. Bairstow’s hundred sparked jubilation on the field for the batter, and off it with the crowd fully appreciative of the innings.
