England have only just finished a home Ashes series, but captain Joe Root admits they have already set their sights on Australia again.

A drawn 2-2 series meant the Aussies retained the urn they won on home soil in early 2018, with Root and new coach Chris Silverwood desperate to regain them at the first opportunity, which comes in the winter of 2021/2022.

England’s next Test assignment is a two-match series in New Zealand next month, and Zak Crawley, Saqib Mahmood, Matthew Parkinson and Dom Sibley could all make their debuts as they bid to be a part of future plans.
