The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to be able to offer a wide range of different experiences for International games at Headingley, ensuring you can have the best time here with us.

From the party atmosphere of the Western Terrace, to the outstanding views of the North East Stands and Howard Stand, we’ve got your perfect day covered.

Check out our guide below to establish the best place for you to sit when you visit us this summer.

The Western Terrace

The famous Western Terrace gives Headingley that extra special atmosphere, making it one of the most recognisable stands in world cricket.

Split into three zones, Blocks A and B are the Fanzone where we welcome those who wish to come in fancy dress. The favoured area of the Barmy Army, we also welcome large groups who may want to enjoy the party atmosphere as much as the cricket.

The Popular Enclosure and 1863 Enclosure do not permit fancy dress, but large groups are allowed, and this offers the same atmosphere and view from the Western Terrace, without the boisterousness of the Fanzone.

The Trueman Enclosure

Named after the famous Yorkshire fast bowler, this offers great views from behind the bowler’s arm and is popular with the more traditional cricket lover.

The North East Stand

Split into two tiers, this offers a great view of the action with the North East Upper favored by many Yorkshire members as having the best view in the ground.

The Lower section offers a ground-level view.

Block R – North East Stand.

This is our Alcohol-Free stand. Located directly underneath the North-East Scoreboard, this is a great area for families who wish to attend in a safe and relaxing environment.

Those wishing to drink can do so behind the stand where a bar is located. There is some accessible seating available in this area.

The East Stand

Our Members-only stand for Yorkshire games, this offers a side on view directly opposite the Western Terrace. For those with the requisite tickets, access can be gained to the Long Room where shelter and refreshments are provided.

Our main activation area for major matchdays is also located behind the East Stand, meaning this is the best spot for families to enjoy the cricket.

Accessible seating is available at the top and front of the East Stand as well as inside the Long Room.

The Howard Stand

Another stand that is split into multiple tiers, this stand has padded seats on all levels offering great comfort as you watch the cricket. The elevated second tier offers prime views from behind the bowler’s arm and has a bar located directly behind these seats.

Please note that the Howard Upper may not be suitable for those who suffer from a fear of heights or vertigo.

The Howard Lower is accessed via the Howard concourse where shelter and refreshments are available.

Accessible seating is available in both the Howard Concourse and the Upper Howard Stand.

Intersected between the two levels is our Howard Suite, offering a premium experience unrivalled by anywhere else in the ground.

Tickets for this hospitality areas are available at the Seat Unique website.
