Yorkshire Academy’s fixture against Scarborough at North Marine Road on Monday 27th August has been cancelled.
Due to Yorkshire’s progression to the final of the ECB U17s County Championship in Arundel next Tuesday and the 2nd XI taking on Somerset at Taunton on Monday, the Academy are unable to field a team for the Yorkshire League fixture.
The fixture will not be rearranged and the Club apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club was delighted to host Solly Adam’s book launch, detailing the life of the Yorkshire cricket legend, at a star-studded event in the prestigious Long Room at Headingley Cricket Ground.
The day was a pleasant surprise in so far as the sun shone and no overs were lost and the fact that the 96 overs were completed on time.
