Supporters that have purchased a T20 Season Ticket in 2019 will get priority access to tickets for next year’s International T20s (IT20s) at Emerald Headingley.
Emerald Headingley is set to host two Vitality IT20s in 2020, with Pakistan and Australia the visitors. Dates for both games are yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that demand will be high for each of the games, meaning those with priority access will have a much better chance of securing tickets.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club Full and One-Day Members will have first priority to secure tickets, with T20 Season Tickets holders in the second priority window.
This benefit adds further value to a T20 Season Ticket, which is already a fantastic offering giving access to all seven Vitality Blast games at Emerald Headingley. This includes the Roses clash, for just £77. It’s proving a particularly popular with the current number of supporters having taken up the offer already more than the 2018 total and is expected to lead to a very well attended Vitality blast this summer.
Lancashire Lightning fixture heading for sell-out
The highly anticipated clash between Yorkshire Vikings and Lancashire Lightning at Emerald Headingley has sold out in advance of the game for the last six years, and this summer’s fixture will be no different. 80% of tickets have already been snapped up, with the Trueman Enclosure, North East Stand, 1863 Enclosure and Emerald Stand Upper all sold out. The East Stand is not far behind them, and we would therefore encourage supporters to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Treve Whitford Head of Marcomms and Customer Experience at Yorkshire CCC said: “We are delighted to be able to offer an added benefit for our T20 Season Ticket holders this summer, and believe this is a great opportunity for our supporters to secure their seats for what are sure to be two enthralling IT20s next year.
“The number of supporters taking up the T20 Season Ticket offer has risen again this year, and we are now approaching 1,200. This represents the popularity of the competition, as well as the fantastic schedule for our home games this year and the remarkable value for money that it offers.
“Unsurprisingly, the Roses clash is also heading for an early sell-out, and it’s set to be another thrilling encounter with the Emerald Stand also open. We are expecting the atmosphere to be electric, and hopefully the cricket will match as it has done in the last few years.
“As a Club, we would encourage our supporters to secure their T20 Season Tickets or membership now, and book their seats for the Lancashire game soon, to ensure they don’t miss out on what’s set to be a fantastic summer of cricket.”
2019 Season Ticket holders will receive information on how to secure tickets in their priority window when the dates for the 2020 internationals are confirmed in the summer.
