The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed that Headingley will host four 2019 ICC World Cup matches next June and July.

Headingley will welcome England, India, Pakistan, West Indies, Sri Lanka and World Cup Qualifier champions Afghanistan.

Friday 21 June – England v Sri Lanka (d)
Saturday 29 June – Pakistan v Afghanistan (d)
Thursday 4 July – Afghanistan v West Indies (d)
Saturday 6 July – Sri Lanka v India (d)

Mark Arthur, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Chief Executive said: “The Club is delighted to be hosting four prestigious fixtures in next year’s ICC World Cup.
