As we count down to the start of the new season, in our weekly feature, we look back at some of Yorkshire’s highlights throughout last summer, be it great wins or memorable individual performances……

Tom Kohler-Cadmore is seen as one of the brightest talents outside of England’s senior white ball set up, and he showed just why with a brilliant century to get Yorkshire’s Royal London one-day Cup campaign up and running with a win at Durham.

Kohler-Cadmore didn’t start the season in the Championship team – he would later break in and finish the summer in style – so this was his first appearance of 2018. It was also his List A debut for the White Rose having signed from Worcestershire midway through the previous summer.

The 23-year-old hit 15 fours and seven sixes in 164 off 151 balls, Yorkshire’s fourth highest ever List A score.

It, along with Indian Che Pujara’s measured 82, underpinned a winning total of 328-4.

If there is a turnover of players post this year’s World Cup on home soil, Kohler-Cadmore will surely be in the mix for higher honours with continued good form.

He has already represented the Lions both at home and abroad.
