Dom Bess

Bess has combined decisive bowling, valuable runs and leadership. His 5–103 from a marathon 46 overs helped Yorkshire secure a 39-run Championship victory at Hampshire, where he also deputised as captain. Against Essex in September, he contributed an unbeaten 80 and five wickets across the match to help deliver an emphatic innings victory. Two outstanding contributions when Yorkshire needed them.

George Hill

Hill has delivered with both bat and ball throughout 2026. His outstanding August brought 171 runs and 14 wickets across competitions, including 5–29 in the Championship victory at Hampshire and an unbeaten 63 from 49 balls to help beat Derbyshire in the One-Day Cup. Five more wickets in September’s innings victory over Essex provided another reminder of his value to Yorkshire’s attack.

James Wharton

Wharton’s ability to build innings has produced valuable contributions across formats. He scored 351 runs in six August matches, passing 40 on five occasions, including 75 against Derbyshire and an unbeaten 51 against Essex as Yorkshire secured a home One-Day Cup quarter-final. His Championship highlights also include an important 92 at Taunton and 70 against Leicestershire at Scarborough, underlining his contribution to the batting line-up.

Will Luxton

Luxton has turned promises into big success in 2026. He struck his maiden first-class century against Warwickshire at Scarborough, making 167 before adding 69 in the second innings. His attacking quality also shone in the One-Day Cup, where he followed 117 against Sussex with a List A career-best 126 from 114 balls against defending champions Worcestershire. Those consecutive centuries helped power Yorkshire to two convincing victories.

Jack White

White’s accuracy and ability to threaten with the ball have again been valuable assets for Yorkshire. His 4–49 against Warwickshire at Edgbaston in May marked his third four-wicket haul in three Championship matches, demonstrating his ability to sustain pressure and earn breakthroughs. He also contributed two wickets in July’s One-Day Cup victory over Worcestershire, helping Yorkshire dismiss the defending champions for 230.

Sarah Glenn

Glenn made her quality count after injury delayed her Yorkshire debut. She claimed 3–40 against Durham in her first One-Day Cup appearance of the summer, helping set up a six-wicket victory. In the Blast, her controlled 2–30 against Somerset proved crucial in defending 211 on a high-scoring afternoon. Her ability to take wickets while keeping pressure on opposing batters has strengthened Yorkshire’s spin attack.

Jess Jonassen

Jonassen made an immediate impact in her first Yorkshire season. She combined 67 with 4–18 against The Blaze, then produced a magnificent 108 and 4–30 in the One-Day Cup victory over Lancashire at Old Trafford. A second successive century followed against Durham, where she made 104. Those performances captured her outstanding all-round quality, giving Yorkshire both a dangerous top-order batter and a match-winning spin option.

Lauren Winfield-Hill

Yorkshire’s captain has produced some of the summer’s most memorable innings. Her career-best T20 score of 99 from 55 balls against Somerset helped secure Yorkshire’s first Blast victory of 2026, sharing a spectacular 167-run partnership with Sterre Kalis. She also struck 90 in the landmark One-Day Cup win over The Blaze and another 90 against Lancashire in the season finale, showing her quality across both formats.

Sterre Kalis

Kalis has brought fluent strokeplay and the ability to change a game. Her unbeaten 84 from 50 balls against Somerset helped transform Yorkshire’s innings from 18–3 into a winning total of 210–4. Her 167-run partnership with Lauren Winfield-Hill equalled the women’s T20 fourth-wicket world record at the time. She also contributed 61 from 42 balls in the One-Day Cup victory over The Blaze, demonstrating her attacking quality across formats.

Erin Thomas

Thomas demonstrated her growing maturity with a crucial 67 in Yorkshire’s One-Day Cup victory over Durham. Her first Tier 1 half-century, and a career best at the time, helped Yorkshire negotiate a slow, turning pitch and complete a six-wicket win. Sharing a 122-run partnership with Lauren Winfield-Hill, she showed the patience and composure to turn a promising start into a decisive contribution at the higher level.
