Travelling by car
Enter town via either A170 or A64 to town centre, turn left at traffic lights near Stephen Joseph Theatre.
At next lights (Police Station) turn right into Victoria Road and into Castle Road.
Straight on at the next lights then left into North Marine Road (B1364) at the
roundabout; ground is on left.
Following the introduction, in 2000, of new parking arrangements in the town centre of Scarborough, arrangements have once again been made for car parking and park and ride to be available for those wishing to park for the Yorkshire and Festival matches at Scarborough.
1. Seamer Road (Town Park & Ride Site) (on the western side of the town centre) (adjacent to Dean’s Garden Centre).
2. Free “on street” car parking to the North of Peasholm Park.
3. Pay and Display car parks are also available, nearer to the Ground, at Northstead Lower (near Peasholm Park) – capacity 100 cars, Northstead Upper (near the Indoor Swimming Pool) – capacity 600 cars, William Street – capacity 250 cars, and on Marine Drive and Royal Albert Drive – combined capacity 800 cars.
Please note that both Burniston Road and Weaponness Valley Road are no longer available as car parks.
A “Park and Ride” scheme will operate from the Seamer Road “Park and Ride” site. The car parking will be free of charge and the bus service to the cricket ground will cost £2.00 per adult and £1.00 per child for a return journey.
Additional signage will be in place to help motorists to locate the car park.
Parking charges in pay and display parks in paragraph 3 above vary but guide prices are as follows:-
1 hour – £1.50 / £2.00
2 hours – £2.60 / £3.00
3 hours – £3.60 / £4.00
4 hours – £3.0 / £4.60 / £5.00
6 hours – £5.00 / £5.60 / £6.00 / £6.50
24 hours – £6.00 / £7.00 / £7.50
The 843 bus runs from Leeds Bus Station to Peasholm Park and takes approximately three hours.
The 7:50am bus from stand 25 at Leeds Bus Station will arrive into Peasholm Park at 10:59. You can find the full timetable by clicking here
Direct trains to Scarborough run at 12 minutes past the hour starting at 08:12 from Leeds City Station.
The journey is approximately an hour and a half and costs around £15 return. For more details click here
The train station is an approximate 10 minute walk from Scarborough Cricket Club.
There are taxis at the railway station.
If on foot cross the road towards Stephen Joseph Theatre. At the traffic lights turn right into Victoria Road and on into Castle Road. Straight on at the next lights and then left into North Marine Road at the roundabout. The ground is approx. 1/3 mile down North Marine Road on the left.
