A Rotherham-born opening batsman, Anjam has been playing second-team cricket sporadically for the last two seasons.
He has played age-group cricket for the White Rose at under 13s, 14s, 15s, 17s and 19s, debuting for the Academy and the second team in 2017.
Anjam, 20-years-old, also bowls a bit of off-spin.
Has three fifties with a top score of 68 to his name in second-team cricket, and his best of 87 not out for the Academy came in a clash with Driffield Town in 2017 when he actually batted at three. Tom Kohler-Cadmore was playing for the opposition and posted a duck.
Anjam, whose latter stages of school education came at Queen Ethelburga’s in York, will hope to really stamp his authority on second-team cricket in 2019.
