Bean enjoyed an excellent 2018 for Yorkshire CCC, scoring a record 213 vs Derbyshire in their three-day Championship opener.

Ultimately, the Club’s U17s side, coached by Richard Damms, went on to be crowned Champions.

He was finally dismissed in that fixture by Josh Lacey for 213. He had scored thirty fours and almost the first ball he hit in the air was the six to bring up his 200.

Bean has proved himself to be a popular member of the playing group and is widely regarded as potential leadership material.
