The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted that the number one British butter brand, Anchor will be spread across its Royal London Cup shirt this summer.
Anchor, part of Leeds-based dairy cooperative, Arla Foods, will also have a significant presence at Emerald Headingley’s international matches this summer. The local community will also benefit, with Anchor supporting the Park Avenue Community Festival at the end of the month.
Andy Dawson, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Commercial Director said: “We are delighted to welcome Anchor to the Yorkshire Cricket family and will be proud to display one of Britain’s most-loved butter brands on our Royal London Cup Shirts.
“Anchor is a prestigious brand and we’re very excited about the prospect of working with the team in promoting Anchor. Arla is a huge local employer that has strong values and through the Anchor brand we will have a lot of fun and bring a smile to peoples’ faces.”
Rebecca Allen, spokesperson for Anchor, comments: “Anchor is pure British butteriness so we are extremely excited to be partnering with another British classic in Yorkshire Cricket. Produced with British milk in the south of England, we look forward to spreading our buttery wings into the North of the country and supporting YCCC to bring our unique blend of buttery betterness to everyone in Yorkshire.”
