IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
Spectators are urged to consider the weather forecast before making their journey to Emerald Headingley. As Emerald Headingley is an open air stadium, consideration must be given to sheltering from the rain and maintaining social distancing.
Follow the link below for the most up-to-date weather information in Headingley.
We encourage spectators to consider all weather conditions by bringing an umbrella, sun cream and their own bottled water. Water fountains will be unavailable on the day to reduce the chance of queuing in the concourses.
ENTRANCE VIA KIRKSTALL LANE
For this fixture, entry will be through the Kirkstall Lane turnstiles only. Please note that the St Michael’s Lane entrance will not be open for this game. Turnstiles will open at 9.30am for each day’s play.
TRACK AND TRACE
On each entrance, spectators will be able to scan the sign-in QR code with the NHS Covid-19 App. The Club will ask for up-to-date contact information at the point of purchase for ticket purchasers, however, we ask that those in your party scan the QR code where possible. If you do not have a device that is compatible with QR codes, you will still be able to gain access and we will use your contact details from when you purchased/booked tickets should the NHS require them.
FIND YOUR SEAT
All supporters will have an allocated seat which will be located in the Western Terrace or Emerald Stand for this game. We ask supporters to sit in the allocated seat that is printed on their ticket. Failing to sit in your allocated seat breaches our COVID policy and may result in ejection from the ground.
NO ACCESS TO THE LONG ROOM
Given the location of the seats being used for this fixture, there will be no access to the East Stand Long room. A range of food and beverage options will be available behind the Western Terrace.
Please follow the queuing systems in place for the toilets and only use the available units. Floor markings to indicate where spectators can stand will be present through these facilities.
When spectators are on their feet and moving around the ground, wearing a facemask is mandatory (unless a doctors note or equivalent can be presented by the customer to warrant not wearing a facemask). Once you are in your seat, you are able to remove your facemask. This is mandatory at all times from entering the ground until leaving it.
At Emerald Headingley, there are some areas where queues can often form. To prevent this from happening, we ask that spectators do not use the concourse areas for socialising. This is a difficult request to those who have not seen their friends due to previous lockdowns, however, we politely ask that this is considered to maintain social distancing guidelines.
MOVING AROUND THE STADIUM
When accessing your seat it may be necessary to “brush past” other spectators in your row. In this case please face away from the other spectator as you pass.
If you do need to leave your viewing position, wait for a time when the gangway is clear and always follow the signs / stewards indicating which way to go.
When using stairs, corridors and concourse areas, please keep to the left wherever possible; thereby creating one way streams. Lifts are reserved for those with accessibility needs
Sanitising stations onsite but also encouraged to bring your own.
Please follow the one way systems in place around the ground.
Please observe respiratory etiquette – always cover your mouth if needing to cough or sneeze. Avoid hugs, high-fives and any close contact with people who are not within your social bubble. Take care when celebrating.
From April, Emerald Headingley Stadium’s catering outlets, including in the Long Room, will operate as cashless to ensure that transactions are faster, safe, and secure.
FOOD AND DRINK
There will be no hot food available on the day. Cold snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the Waterhole Bar behind the Western Terrace.

PRAMS AND PUSHCHAIRS
Prams and pushchairs can be stored at Emerald Headingley Stadium in the cycle racks at certain areas of the ground. Prams and push chairs are left at the owners discretion.
WHAT’S THE MINIMUM AGE FOR A FAN ATTENDING A GAME ALONE?
Minimum age for attending a fixture:
YCCC recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children visiting Emerald Headingley Cricket Ground and has a commitment to practice which protects them. As part of this commitment we have reviewed the minimum age of which a child can attend a game without being accompanied by another individual. This review has involved consultation with other first class counties, Leeds City Council and stakeholders across YCCC.
Our recommendation is that any child under the age of 14 should be accompanied by a responsible adult (defined in law as aged 18 or over) and decisions on entry to the stadium will be based on that age threshold.
LEAVING THE STADIUM
When leaving the stadium, we ask that spectators head straight for the exits whilst wearing a facemask and respecting social distancing guidelines. Designated exits will be available and communicated to spectators ahead of the match and on the day. Please consider our friendly residents in Headingley when leaving the stadium.
