Matchday information: T20 double header - Friday

Emerald Headingley will host a Kia Super League/Vitality Blast double-header on Friday with Yorkshire Diamonds taking on Lancashire Thunder (2:30pm start) and Yorkshire Vikings playing Birmingham Bears (6:30pm start). If you’re planning your trip, or want to know how to follow the game, read on!

Opening times

Gates will open at 2:00pm and will remain open throughout both games (access via both the Kirkstall Lane and St Michael’s Lane turnstiles).

Yorkshire Diamonds v Lancashire Thunder – Kia Super League

First Innings: 2.30pm-3.45pm
Interval: 3.45pm-4.00pm
Second Innings: 4:00pm-5.15pm

Yorkshire Vikings v Birmingham Bears – Vitality Blast

First Innings: 6.30pm-7.45pm
Interval: 7.45pm-8.00pm
Second Innings: 8:00pm-9.15pm

Ticket prices

Please note tickets will give access to both the Kia Super League and Vitality Blast games. Those attending Yorkshire Diamonds vs Lancashire Thunder must purchase a full price ticket for Yorkshire Vikings vs Birmingham Bears.

Adult: £19 in advance (£24.00 on the day)

Seniors: £10 in advance (£15.00 on the day)

Juniors & Students: £5.00 (Please note students are required to bring a valid student card).

Club Yorkshire Member: (Adult) £10.00

Club Yorkshire Member: (Concession) £5.00

Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 juniors): £38 in advance (£48.00 on the day)

Cash turnstiles will be available at both entrances on the day.

Tickets purchased online can be printed at home to enable you to enter the ground as quickly as possible on your arrival.

The Ticket Office on St Michael’s Lane will be open from 9am until 30 minutes after the close of play of the Yorkshire Vikings game. Ticket collections for the Yorkshire Diamonds game will be available from the Ticket Office, with collections from the Cricket Centre nets for the Yorkshire Vikings match.

Raincheck policy (Please note this policy only cover the Vitality Blast game. No refunds will be given for overs lost in the Kia Super League fixture)


Seating is reserved for Members in the East Stand and Trueman Enclosure. A limited number of seats within the ground are reserved for individuals. For the Kia Super League game, the White Rose Stand will be closed (excluding block I).


Supporters may be searched before they are allowed access to the venue. If you or your bag aren’t searched that doesn’t mean the stewards are not doing their job – searchers are just one component of the security measures in place.

Please keep the number of personal belongings you bring to an absolute minimum – any items you bring will slow your entry & may also prevent your entry to the venue.


Pass outs will be available 30 minutes after the start of the Kia Super League game until 30 minutes after the start of the second innings of the Vitality Blast game has started. Once a pass out has been taken, please expect to join a queue upon re-entry. You will need your match ticket/membership card and the pass out in order to gain entry back into the ground.

Free WiFi

You can access free WiFi from your seat at Emerald Headingley Cricket Ground, meaning you can keep up to date with all the latest scores and even watch wickets back on Yorkshire’s new ‘Match Centre’. When in the ground, simply connect to YCCC-FREE WIFI, follow the on-screen instructions and you’ll be online in seconds.

North-South Stand redevelopment

  • Construction of the new North-South Stand will continue during Kia Super League game at Emerald Headingley. There will therefore be a higher level of noise than normal at certain times of the day. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

  • Getting to Emerald Headingley

    Plan your journey

    Car parking is very limited at Emerald Headingley due to the ongoing development of the North-South Stand. A limited number of spaces are available in Car Park K (Stanmore Terrace – LS4 2RS) on a first come first served basis at £5 per car. There is also a pay and display car park at Headingley Taps on North Lane, Headingley.

    First Bus

    First West Yorkshire and Yorkshire County Cricket Club have introduced a new partnership for the 2018 season. The partnership sees a direct shuttle bus service to run from Leeds city centre up to Headingley Stadium and back for all Vitality Blast and International fixtures.     Scorecards will be available from the Club Shop on St Michael’s Lane and museum behind the East Stand. Please find prices below:

    Members: 50p
    Non-members: £1

    All proceeds will go to the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

    Yorkshire Cricket Museum

    The Yorkshire Cricket Museum, located in the East Stand, will be open prior to the match.

    Opening times:

    2:00pm – 2:30pm

    5:00pm – 6:30pm

    Entry is FREE for all but a small donation per visit is appreciated to help fund the upkeep of the museum.

    Food and Beverage Offerings

    There will be a selection of food and beverages available from the East Stand Long Room (for members) and concession units behind the North-East scoreboard.

    Please note reusable cups will be available from all bars behind the White Rose Stand.


    There is a multi-faith room available to spectators in the East Stand for this fixture.



    Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking areas. For this game, these are situated at Gate A near St Michael’s Lane, at Gate B next to the rugby shop and at Gate H near the Carnegie Pavilion. The restrictions also apply to e-cigarettes and vaping.


    All mobile phones and tablets must be on ‘silent’ within the ground and cannot be used for phone calls when users are in the stands, or immediately adjacent to the playing area. Devices can be used for sending or receiving text/email messages, as well as the use of the internet and phone applications.


    The nearest cashpoint on the St Michael’s Lane side of the ground is located just next to the Leeds Rugby office, where there is a surcharge. If you exit through Gate B just turn right and it’s about 50 yards down the road. If you’re at the Kirkstall Lane side of the ground you’ll need to walk up North Lane towards the centre of Headingley. The first one you’ come to is situated inside Sainsbury’s local.

    Please note that the bars behind the East Stand and White Rose Stand, as well as in the Long Room accept payment via credit and debit cards.
