7.15pm Some reaction from Adam Lyth

“I’ve felt in good nick all season, I just haven’t quite got the big score I did today. I’m over the moon with it.

“It was probably my best knock in a chase, which I’m thrilled with.

“Over the last few years, we’ve not been the best chasing side, but I thought the way we went about our business today was second to none.

“I’m happy with the way I’ve gone and the rest of the lads as well.”

5.34pm Adam Lyth reaches his century off 96 balls with 13 fours and a six as Yorkshire continue to plough on to victory. 221-1 after 35. The stand is 68 with Che Pujara (33).

5.21pm Yorkshire have reached 200-1 after 32 and are cruising to their target. Adam Lyth is closing in on his first ton of the season at 88 not out.

4.30pm Kohler-Cadmore has his third 50 of the competition off 55 balls. He’s already converted one of those into a century – the 164 v Durham on opening night. Yorkshire cruising at 124-0 in the 19th over.

4.26pm Runs coming with a great deal of ease now as Kohler-Cadmore reaches his 55-ball fifty. 122-0 after 18 overs. Lyth, on 64, just survived a caught and bowled appeal from Callum Parkinson, but it was a bump ball.

3.57pm The threat of rain I mentioned right at the start of the day remains, although we have a game come what may given we’re through 10 overs of the Yorkshire chase. They are 61-0 in pursuit of 294.

3.46pm It’s turned into a good start for Yorkshire after their watchful opening few overs. They are now 44-0 in the eighth over. Lyth has 22 of them.

3.21pm Early stages of Yorkshire’s innings and they are 4-0 in the third over chasing 294. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Adam Lyth continue their excellent recent opening partnership.

Mid-innings report

Yorkshire will require 294 to beat Leicestershire in today’s Royal London one-day Cup match at the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road.

After being invited to field first, Matthew Fisher claimed three wickets in his first appearance of the season in the hosts’ 293-9, while Ben Coad and Adil Rashid took two wickets apiece for the Vikings.

The Foxes slipped to 39-3 inside 10 overs before recovering to 167-3 inside 30 thanks to fourth-wicket pair Mark Cosgrove and Ned Eckersley.

Cosgrove top-scored 84 off 88 balls and Eckersley hit 50.

Fisher struck with his third ball of the season when he had Cameron Delport lbw in the second over of the game before getting Paul Horton caught at mid-off and tail-ender Richard Jones caught behind off a top-edge.

Neil Dexter then ensured Leicester weren’t bowled out having slipped to 199-6 in the 37th over with 50 not out, reached off the last ball of the innings.

1.40pm Ben Raine top-edges Patterson and Adil Rashid takes a tricky high swirler running in from point. Leicestershire are 230-7 in the 42nd.

1.42pm We have 10 overs remaining in the Leicestershire innings. They are 224-6.

1.20pm Superb catch at long-on from Tom Kohler-Cadmore as Cosgrove smashes one high off Adil Rashid. Manages to keep his balance inside the rope. Gone for 83. 185-5 in the 35th over.

12.53pm Eckersley has reached 50 off 61 balls. Leicestershire have moved to 166-3 after 29 overs.

12.48pm Impressive recovery from Cosgrove and Eckersley, who have taken the score from 39-3 to 157-3 in the 28th over. Cosgrove has hit Rashid for a couple of straight sixes in the last 10 minutes.

12.27pm Leicestershire have moved to 100-3 in the 22nd over. Make that 106-3 as Cosgrove launches Patterson over wide long-on for six to move to 37.

12.04pm It is Family Fun Day here at Grace Road today, and we have just been told there is an animal experience in the same building as the press box…..with snakes!!!!!!!

12pm Steve Patterson has brought himself on and had an lbw appeal turned down against Ned Eckersley first ball. Later in the over, he was punted for six over wide long-on. 67-3 in the 14th over.

11.40am Wickets continue to fall. Matthew Fisher has his second as captain Paul Horton drives and finds his opposite number Steve Patterson and mid-off for 14. Leicestershire are 39-3 in the 10th over.

11.21am Productive start for Yorkshire as Ben Coad gets Colin Ackermann caught and bowled above his head. Leicestershire are 21-2 after five overs.

11.07am What a start for Matthew Fisher. Third ball of the season and he has Cameron Delport lbw. 10-1 in the second over.

11.03am We’re underway at Grace Road, where Leicestershire are 8-0 after one from Ben Coad, a couple of boundaries for Cameron Deport. Matthew Fisher is sharing the new ball in his first appearance of the season having suffered a side tear in a pre-season game here, ironically.

Good morning from the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road.

We have been greeted by a lovely morning, hazy sunshine, although there has been talk of some thunderstorms around the Leicester area today, so don’t be surprised if it changes quickly.

Anyway, the players are out there warming up.

Yorkshire are looking to put a frustrating week behind them in the Royal London one-day Cup. They lost back-to-back home games against Warwickshire and Worcestershire last Sunday and on Wednesday before Friday’s chance to bounce back against Nottinghamshire was washed out at Emerald Headingley.

They current have three points from four games and face a Leicestershire side who have played three, won one and lost two.

We start at 11am. Enjoy the day.
