Yorkshire take on Warwickshire in their opening home Royal London One-Day Cup fixture of the year at Emerald Headingley on Sunday. If you’re planning your trip, or want to know how to follow the game, read on!

This Sunday’s fixture between Yorkshire Vikings and Warwickshire at Emerald Headingley will be the ‘Yorkshire Cricket Foundation’s Junior Vikings Day’. Find out more about the various activities going on around the ground here.

Gates open at 9:30am (access via both the Kirkstall Lane and St Michael’s Lane turnstiles).

Interval: 2:30pm-3:15pm
Close: 6:45pm

Available to purchase via the cash turnstiles or Ticket Office on the morning of each day. Please note the Ticket Office will be open 8:30am – 5pm. Ticket vouchers must be exchanged at the Ticket Office on St Michael’s lane ahead of entering the ground.

NOTE: If there is less than 19.5 overs play it is an exchange for another day’s play of any County Championship or Royal London One Day Cup match played at Emerald Headingley.

Seating is reserved for Members in the East Stand and Trueman Enclosure. The White Rose Stand will be closed for this fixture. A limited number of seats within the ground are reserved for individuals.

You can access free WiFi from your seat at Emerald Headingley Cricket Ground, meaning you can keep up to date with all the latest scores and even watch wickets back on Yorkshire’s new ‘Match Centre’. When in the ground, simply connect to YCCC-FREE WIFI, follow the on-screen instructions and you’ll be online in seconds.

North-South Stand redevelopment

  • Construction of the new North-South Stand will continue during Specsavers County Championship fixtures at Emerald Headingley. There will therefore be a higher level of noise than normal at certain times of the day. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

  • Getting to Emerald Headingley

    Plan your journey

    Car parking is very limited at Emerald Headingley due to the ongoing development of the North-South Stand. A limited number of spaces are available in Car Park F (St Michael’s Lane) on a first com first served basis at £5 per car. There is also a pay and display car park at Headingley Taps on North Lane, Headingley.


    Scorecards will be available from the Club Shop on St Michael’s Lane (9am-5pm) and museum behind the East Stand (9am-11am). Please find prices below:

    Members: 50p
    Non-members: £1

    All proceeds will go to the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

    Yorkshire Cricket Museum

    The Yorkshire Cricket Museum, located in the East Stand, will be open throughout the match.

    Opening times:

    9:30am – 11:00am
    1:00pm – 1:40pm

    Entry is FREE for all but a small donation per visit is appreciated to help fund the upkeep of the museum.

    Food and Beverage Offerings

    There will be a selection of food and beverages available from the East Stand Long Room (for members), Carnegie Cafe and concession units behind the North-East scoreboard.

    There is a multi-faith room available to spectators in the East Stand for this fixture.



    Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking areas. For this game, these are situated at Gate A near St Michael’s Lane, at Gate B next to the rugby shop and at Gate H near the Carnegie Pavilion. The restrictions also apply to e-cigarettes and vaping.


    All mobile phones and tablets must be on ‘silent’ within the ground and cannot be used for phone calls when users are in the stands, or immediately adjacent to the playing area. Devices can be used for sending or receiving text/email messages, as well as the use of the internet and phone applications.


    The nearest cashpoint on the St Michael’s Lane side of the ground is located just next to the Leeds Rugby office, where there is a surcharge. If you exit through Gate B just turn right and it’s about 50 yards down the road. If you’re at the Kirkstall Lane side of the ground you’ll need to walk up North Lane towards the centre of Headingley. The first one you’ come to is situated inside Sainsbury’s local.

    Please note that the bars behind the East Stand and White Rose Stand, as well as in the Long Room accept payment via credit and debit cards.
