Join us for our family fun day T20 at Headingley

Yorkshire Vikings will be providing family entertainment during our NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Worcestershire Rapids on Sunday 23rd July.

It promises to be another enthralling fixture at Headingley with world-class players in abundance on each side.

Yorkshire Vikings’ opened up their T20 campaign last Friday with an emphatic 48-run win over Notts Outlaws after notching up 227 in the first innings, a record score in T20 cricket at Headingley. Opener Adam Lyth and Australian overseas star Shaun Marsh both hit half-centuries, and they will be looking to entertain the crowd with more huge maximums come Sunday 23rd.

  • Headingley will be transformed for the Family Fun Day with a Giant Slide, Rodeo Bull, Pole Joust and even a Climbing Wall. You can also visit our Mobile Farm’ to see a range of animals including goats, alpacas, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs and much more.

    Vinny the Viking and his helpers will be handing out free giveaways, including Yorkshire Vikings’ headbands, 4 & 6 cards and clappits.

    To ensure you are fully in the spirit, you can get your face painted with artists able to do a range of designs including the iconic Vikings emblem.

    Be in with a chance of winning your very own Yorkshire Vikings T20 shirt with the Mazars ‘What happens next’ competition during play.

    To finish your day off, head along to the signing session in the North-East Lower stand and get selfies and autographs with your favourite Vikings’ players.

    There’s no better way to spend an afternoon with your family than at Headingley Cricket Ground supporting the Yorkshire Vikings and immersing yourself in the family-fun on offer.
    The match begins at 2.30pm with gates opening at 1.00pm for the family activities.

    Family tickets (two adults, two juniors) are available to buy in advance for £36 by calling the Ticket Office (on weekdays between 9am – 5pm) on 0843 504 3099 (Press option 1 – Calls are charged at approximately 5p per minute from a BT landline. Other networks and mobile phones will vary.)

    Early Bird adult tickets are available to buy online ahead of the day at £18. Junior and student tickets are available for £5 with senior citizen tickets at £10.


    Junior Vikings memberships are also available for just £20 (5-16 years of age) and free for under 5’s (Mini Vinny membership) and allow access to all Yorkshire CCC home games (excluding knock-out fixtures).
