Yorkshire eased to consecutive wins with a 7 wicket win against MCC Young Cricketers.
Winning the toss we invited the opposition to bat first. Josh Shaw struck early to dismiss Curran before Smith and Allen added 52. Cross then became the first of Ryan Gibsons 3 wickets. We then reduced them to 111-5 before Lezar and Sears added 64 in only 78 balls but from 175-5 they slipped to 219-9, Lezar top scored with 52 from 63 balls with 6×4 and 1 six.
Gibson finished with 3-35 from his allotted 10 and James Logan 3-53.
Alex Lees made 21 from 13 balls with 4 fours and Will Rhodes followed 3 balls later. Tattersall had made 33 from 39 before he fell but Gibson joined skipper, Jack Leaning, and they steered us home with 59 balls to spare. Jack 77 no from 106 balls (6 fours) and Ryan capped a great all round performance with 76 no from 82 balls with 7 fours and a six – their partnership yielding 140 from 157 balls.
