Will Rhodes and Jonny Tattersall helped guide Yorkshire to 332 all out by the close of play on day one of their 2nd XI fixture with Gloucestershire.

Having decided to bat, Eliot Callis fell on the first ball of the day, caught behind down the leg side.

Fortunately, Tattersall and Rhodes enjoyed a 195 ball unbroken stand and at lunch the hosts were 127-1. Tattersall 45no from 91 balls and Rhodes 70no from 99 with 11 fours.

However, the eighth ball after lunch saw Rhodes caught behind for 71 from 103 balls with 11 fours.

Tattersall completed his 50 from 118 balls and was third out with the score at 176 – he had made 72 from 161 and added 48 with Jack Leaning.

Matthew Waite joined Leaning and added a further 42 unbeaten to take us to tea at 218-3 – Waite a patient 11 from 66 and Leaning 43 from 106, including 5 fours and a six.

The White Rose progressed to 247-3 but then fell to 281-7. Leaning fell for 64 and the only other contribution was 37 from Ryan Gibson.

A last wicket stand of 22 between Ryan Shaw and Matthew Wainman saw Yorkshire all out in the last over of the day for 332.
