Yorkshire began the day in the very healthy position of leading by 150 with all second innings wickets intact. Quick runs were needed but the rain had other ideas and play did not begin until 3.25 pm with 60 overs to be bowled
Scorecard
Yorkshire rattled along at more than 3.5 runs per over, but no-one made a really big score. Matthew Waite led the way with 32 and Andrew Hodd made 27. Ryan Gibson contributed 22 and Matthew Fisher`s 21* precipitated the declaration.
Warwickshire`s target ended up as 336 runs to win from a minimum of 102 overs.
That included six to bowl to complete the second day`s play and they successfully negotiated this awkward little time, ending on 10/0, leaving 32 to win from 96 overs.
