Day 2 started in sunshine and with a couple of maidens. However in total 36 overs were bowled until the lunch break and Gloucestershire added 153 for the loss of 2 wickets.
Gilmour made 54 from 71 balls with 10 fours and at lunch, captain, Cockbain was unbeaten on 104 from 126 balls with 16 fours and 3 sixes. At lunch 288-4.
Cockbain went on to make 150 from only 171 balls with 24 fours and 3 sixes. He added 112 at a run a ball with Taylor and at tea Gloucestershire were 474-8 with Taylor unbeaten on 119 from only 113 balls having hit 14 fours and 7 sixes.
Yorkshire took only 14 balls after tea to wrap up the innings and J Taylor was last man out for 128 from only 117 balls with 16 fours and 7 sixes.
We set about making up the deficit of 231 runs but Elliot Callis went in only the 3rd over for 8. He was soon followed by most of the top order with us being reduced to 42-5.
However Waite and Thompson saw out the remaining 13 overs and we finished the day on 70-5, still 161 behind.
