On Wednesday 8th September The Yorkshire County Cricket Club will pay tribute to one of the game’s most iconic players, Michael Vaughan.
Michael Paul Vaughan was just 11 years old when his potential was recognised by former YCCC batsman Doug Padgett. He went on to become one of the most successful England Captains of all time. To honour his manifold achievements the Club has decided to arrange a special one-off dinner at which those who have been instrumental in Michael’s career will share with us their memories and, no doubt, some opinions.
Already confirmed to attend are Michael himself, Duncan Fletcher, Ashley Giles, Martyn Moxon, Doug Padgett and Steve Oldham, with more yet to be announced*.
Individual tickets are priced at £100 (plus VAT) with tables of ten costing £950 (plus VAT). The price includes a three-course meal. Dress code for the event is lounge suits.
