Yorkshire’s very own national newspaper the Yorkshire Post dedicated a full page to the announcement and said that Yorkshire supporters will be in for a treat this summer with his explosive power-hitting.
The national stable of newspapers also featured the story extensively with The Guardian’s cricket writer Andy Wilson stating that Yorkshire’s coup will see the turnstiles clicking with the public wanting to watch him action. They also believe the Australian international will invigorate the revamped NatWest t20 Blast.
