This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping Yorkshire Cricket’s volunteer, internship and work placement programmes. Using their extensive knowledge of the volunteering sector, the successful candidate will aim to align these programmes with the organisation’s strategic objectives, including Yorkshire Cricket’s strong vision for equity, diversity and inclusion programme. The role will proactively scope out opportunities to support departments through developing, managing and retaining talented and diverse volunteers, interns and work placement students. The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with and work with key stakeholders, such as local universities and community groups, to help contribute to the success of the programme and explore possible partnership opportunities.

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:
· 3+ years experience in the management of volunteers including management of recruitment processes
· Previous experience working with diverse communities and community groups
· Extensive knowledge of the volunteering sector including an understanding of the motivation of volunteers and volunteering impact
· Demonstrable knowledge and experience of identifying and obtaining private and public sector funding to support volunteer, internship and placement programmes would be desirable
· Demonstratable experience and/or commitment to delivering the values of YCCC’s EDI Plan
