Durham resumed leading by 115 runs. Jared Warner struck in the seventh over of the day courtesy of an excellent catch by Dominic Leech at square leg. This saw Pringle depart for 62 from only 59 balls with 9 fours and a six. The score was 118- , 57 having been added in only 42 balls.

Davies was then taken at slip by Tom Kohler-Cadmore for 63 from 82 balls off James Logan. Further catches by Matthew Fisher had Durham at 216-6 and at lunch they had reached 242-6, a lead of 296.

Ed Barnes was bowled for 14 and we were 127-5. Jordan was joined by Jared Warner and they had added 26 when with the total at 153-5 play was halted at 4.52pm due to bad light – 10 minutes later the game was abandoned as a draw with each team having 11 points.
