Scorecard

Durham resumed leading by 115 runs. Jared Warner struck in the seventh over of the day courtesy of an excellent catch by Dominic Leech at square leg. This saw Pringle depart for 62 from only 59 balls with 9 fours and a six. The score was 118- , 57 having been added in only 42 balls.

Davies was then taken at slip by Tom Kohler-Cadmore for 63 from 82 balls off James Logan. Further catches by Matthew Fisher had Durham at 216-6 and at lunch they had reached 242-6, a lead of 296.

At lunch Durham declared leaving Yorkshire 297 to win from a minimum of 64 overs. Alex Lees (having left for 1st X1 duties) was replaced at the top of the order by Matthew Fisher.

Things didn’t start well with Matthew departing after only 3 balls. 0-1 became 0-2 when Tom Kohler-Cadmore was lbw. Tom Loten and Jordan Thompson steadied the ship, adding 71 for the 3rd wicket before Tom was lbw for 22 from 64 balls with 3 fours.

Jordan, at that stage 46 not out reached his 50 from 61 balls with 10 fours. He and Jonny Tattersall took the score to 107 before the latter became our third lbw victim having made 26 from 47 balls.

Ed Barnes was bowled for 14 and we were 127-5. Jordan was joined by Jared Warner and they had added 26 when with the total at 153-5 play was halted at 4.52pm due to bad light – 10 minutes later the game was abandoned as a draw with each team having 11 points. Jordan finished 77 not out from 127 balls including 13 fours.
