Chris joined Yorkshire CCC for the 2013 season, working alongside former club Physiotherapist and school friend Scot McAllister.
Chris graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences. He then completed a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy at the University of Salford. Subsequently he has been employed within the NHS at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust, heading a team of nine staff in their Orthopaedic Gymnasium, providing sports injury and Orthopaedic rehabilitation services.
As part of his leadership role, he has worked alongside Bradford’s Orthopaedic surgeons to develop a number of post-operative rehabilitation protocols, based on the latest research evidence.
He also provides Orthopaedic Triage services, assessing patients to refer into the soft tissue knee and ankle surgical services.
As part of his ongoing development, in 2009 Chris was admitted to the degree of MSc (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) at the University of Bradford.
In 2010, Chris opened his own Physiotherapy clinic in Huddersfield. North Light Physiotherapy has since provided Physiotherapy services in the surrounding areas.
Prior to joining YCCC, the clinic began to develop strong links with local cricket, primarily providing services to Thongsbridge CC of the Drakes Huddersfield League.
