Pro Coach funds Young Leaders

— 4 September 2011

Chris Taylor, Director of Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket, recently presented a cheque for £12,500 to Charles Hartwell of the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

The donation will be used to help fund the Yorkshire Cricket Young Leaders Academy, an invaluable service which recruits and develops the skills of young volunteers throughout Yorkshire. The ultimate aim of the scheme is to increase the number of young people involved in cricket through the placement of skilled young leaders. The Foundation helps facilitate this by running courses and providing work experience opportunities at the ground.

Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket is the official coaching partner of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club and over the past 12 months has coached over 2000 children across Yorkshire.
