Bresnan inspires Ashes winning England down under

— 9 January 2011

Yorkshire’s Tim Bresnan claimed a Test best 4-50 to lead England to an Ashes retaining 4th Test win over Australia in Melbourne. Bresnan’s 6 wickets in the match helped enable England to crush the Aussies by an innings and 157 runs to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the 5-match series.

Tim followed that with more wickets at Sydney in the series winning finale and described recent weeks as his ‘best in cricket.’

Congratulations to Tim and the rest of the England team from everyone involved in Yorkshire cricket.

Enjoy the celebrations everyone!!!
