A summer of fun and cricket coaching

Current and former players will be passing on their cricket expertise during a series of summer coaching camps at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground and around Yorkshire throughout July and August.

Whatever your standard there is a course for you, close to you!!


THE COACHES


• Simon Guy – who had 12 years as a professional cricketer at Yorkshire CCC, is a Level 4 coach and currently coaches with the England Under-19s and England Ladies sides.
• Mark Lawson – Yorkshire CCC, Derbyshire CCC and Kent CCC leg-spin bowler.
• Ian Fisher – Former Yorkshire CCC, Worcestershire CCC and Gloucestershire CCC left-arm spinner.
• Jeremy Batty – Yorkshire CCC and Somerset CCC right-arm spinner.
• John Wood – Durham CCC and Lancashire CCC pace bowler.
• Rochelle Petty – England and Yorkshire Ladies all-rounder.


Appearances from Yorkshire players such as Andrew Gale, Jacques Rudolph, Joe Sayers, Adam Lyth and Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

At Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground


Yorkshire Summer Elite Academy - 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th & 27th August (£250)


With use of the YCCC outdoor nets, the pitch and with a game at New Rover Cricket Club this is a camp specifically designed to give talented young cricketers a real taste of what it is like to be a professional sportsman by spending five days at the Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground being coached by high performance coaches.


This is new for 2010 and includes a specialist batting session with Yorkshire and England Lions captain Andrew Gale, specialist wicket-keeping with Simon Guy, full video analysis of bowling actions with reports and DVD.


For ages 11 to 14, a fantastic opportunity not to be missed.

For ages 6 to under-15, the camps around the county are priced at £60 for three full days of coaching (for a list of venues see below).
