The significant partnership agreement, which runs through to the end of the 2015 season with an option on a third year, will see the Mazars brand appear on the Yorkshire County Championship and One-Day shirts and training wear.

As official principal partners, Mazars will enjoy a major rights package which will provide the platform to significantly develop and strengthen the firm’s brand awareness across its core markets in the UK.

In the United Kingdom, the firm has 20 offices, 127 partners and over 1,300 employees providing audit, tax and advisory services across a range of markets and sectors.

Mark Arthur, Chief Executive of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be entering into a partnership with Mazars. This partnership brings together two strong brands within their respective fields with a really strong cultural and strategic fit. The sponsorship opportunity attracted a huge level of interest and in Mazars we believe we have the ideal partner to move forward and help develop our ambitions across the sport.

“Whilst Yorkshire will always be a club defined by its proud history and family values, in order for the club to continue to move forward, building our reputation and presence both on and off the field is a major part of our focus.

“It is a real sign of the progress, on the commercial side of the business, that we have been able to secure a mutually beneficial deal.”
