Yorkshire Ladies are on the verge of winning their first Championship title since 2002, when they take on Sussex in the County Championship final at Campbell Park, Milton Keynes commencing at 10.30am on Sunday.
Yorkshire will have the luxury of being able to select internationals Katherine Brunt, Danielle Hazell and Lauren Winfield.
Sussex, who finished the regular season top of the table and regarded as the best team in the country, will have two England Internationals on duty – Sarah Taylor and Holly Colvin.
“It should be a great final,” said Yorkshire Ladies first team coach Mark Loker.
“These are the best two teams in the country and the match has the makings of being a thriller. Even though Sussex finished ahead of us in the table, we have already beaten them this season. With our England players returning, we will go into the game full of confidence.
“It has been our aim to lift the Championship and to do it on Sunday would be very satisfying.”
The 50-overs a side contest starts at 10.30am and entry to Campbell Park is FREE.
