Take your place in Yorkshire's cricket history— 11 September 2013
Any cricket followers with items of memorabilia connected with Yorkshire County Cricket Club can bring them along for inspection at an Open Day organised by the Archives Committee in the Long Room at Headingley on September 18, the second day of Yorkshire’s Championship encounter with Middlesex.
This will be the committee’s second Open Day of the summer, and Brian Sanderson will be on hand once again to cast an eye on whatever may be brought in.
“Sadly, this is the last Headingley match of the season, but it would be very cheering if any members or fans can bring in something that we might not have seen before,” Brian said. “We would love to see any item that a follower may wish to bring in, and you can never tell when something really special is going to come along.”
Brian will be on hand in the East Stand Long Room for about an hour before the 10.30am start and again at the lunch and tea intervals.
