Tim Bresnan, alongside his Yorkshire teammates Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root, have been selected in England’s starting line-up for the second Investec Ashes Test Match starting at Lord’s today.
Bresnan replaces Steven Finn in the side.
It is the first time since 2003 that three Yorkshire players have been selected in an England Test side. The three players back in 2003 were Darren Gough, Anthony McGrath and Michael Vaughan playing in the second Test Match against South Africa at Lord’s. England lost the game by an innings and 92 runs.
