The Club is pleased to invite you and your family to attend the latest event, a Service of Thanksgiving which will be held on Friday 14th June at 2.30 pm at York Minster.
The Service will be led by the Dean and Chapter of York Minster; The Right Reverend Richard Frith and President of the MCC, Mr Mike Griffith will give an address on behalf of the Club, amongst other readers and choral accompaniments. We are expecting the Minster to be full of Yorkshire supporters, players and officials past and present.
Due to York Races scheduled for the same day, we are anticipatipating busy travel for those wishing to attend. Road travel is likely to be the most affected, so here is some alternate methods of transport for those wishing to attend from Leeds.
Coach Travel The Club is arranging for a coach to make the return journey from Headingley Cricket Ground to York Minster. The coach will leave at 11:30 precisely to ensure arrival in good time ahead of the service and allowing for travel delays due to York Races. If you would like to book a place on the coach, please contact Charles Hartwell on 0113 2033 606. Cost will be £10 return per person.
