Andrew Gale helps great cause— 4 May 2013
Andrew Gale has thrown his support and a Yorkshire CLt20 matchworn squad signed shirt behind Huddersfield runner Alan Boothroyd’s mammoth marathon challenge. The 52-year-old will completed his 40 marathons in 20-days charity run from Lands End to John O’Groats in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance last month.
“Alan’s achievement is being celebrated at a homecoming party at Canalside in Huddersfield in Saturday night. The target is to break the £20,000 barrier by midnight on the night of the party. All Yorkshire supporters who have contributed to Alan’s collection are very welcome to attend.”
Anyone making a donation of at least £5 and quoting ‘YCCC’ in the message on Alan’s www.justgiving.com/actionman-uk page will be entered into a draw for the shirt which will be made at the end of May.
