Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks are pleased to announce that they will be Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s official family partner for 2012.
The partnership means the Banks will have a direct involvement with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club junior membership programme, the Yorkshire Tykes and all associated family-related events throughout this season.
The family stand at Yorkshire County Cricket Club will be renamed the Yorkshire Bank Family Stand and Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks will receive additional branding rights at the stadium throughout this year’s domestic and international season.
Jonny Bairstow, Yorkshire and England cricketer, said: “We have a magnificent fan base in Yorkshire. They are very passionate about their cricket and the Yorkshire Bank Family Partnership is an excellent initiative that will bring more families through the gates at Headingley Carnegie this season.”
Caroline Darnbrook, Head of Customer Insight and Brand Products and Marketing at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, said: “The partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club contributes significantly to supporting local communities in our heartland areas and we are delighted to help provide more families and junior cricketers with opportunities to watch their favourite team in action.”
Yorkshire County Cricket Club launched their summer family programme with a ‘Family Fun Day’ at their first home Clydesdale Bank 40 match of the season against Kent on Sunday, 6 May.
The county will create an official family section on its website which will include details of family ticket offers, competitions, junior membership details, events, healthy eating initiatives and coaching tips.
